The Certified Travel Associate, CTA, designation is awarded by The Travel Institute to travel professionals who have been in the industry for at least a year and those who complete a rigorous training program, including a closed-book, proctored exam. This certificate demonstrates my commitment to life-long learning but also a commitment as a travel advisor to my clients who will be better served because of my increased knowledge and experience.
I have been a travel advisor for 3 years, but I have been traveling for 3 decades. My passion and addiction to travel is what led me to becoming a travel advisor with Dream Come True Vacations. Although the training I have gone through is extensive, nothing could have prepared me better for a job as a travel advisor than my own personal travel history. Each journey I’ve embarked upon has been a unique learning experience, expanding my understanding of different destinations, navigating logistical challenges, and discovering hidden gems off the beaten path. From planning intricate itineraries to adapting to unexpected changes, my personal travels have equipped me with a wealth of practical knowledge and insights that I bring to my role. This firsthand experience allows me to empathize with clients’ needs, offer genuine recommendations, and craft personalized travel experiences that resonate on a deeper level. My personal adventures have truly been the best training ground for providing exceptional service in the world of travel.
